These LED conversion "bulbs" simply replace the bulb, and that is it! No electronics to install as everything needed is build into the socket. LED lights use only a fraction of the power normal bulbs do and live much, much longer. These 12 Volt LED replacement bulbs have a normal BA15 socket. BA15S versions are to replace single filament bulbs, whereas BA15D version are to replace dual filament bulbs, usually found in stop/taillight combinations and turn signal/running light applications. Available in clear, red and amber. Red and amber LEDs are great when used in combination with clear or smoke lenses. Sold each.
