The lamp is slightly recessed for a hooded appearance and is held in position using a threaded ring, so there are no exposed rivets or bolts. Also the billet aluminum mounting bracket is attached to the housing, so a very clean look is achieved. The standard bracket position fits 1980 thru 1986 FXWG and 1984 to present FXST models with the 3/4" wide mounting block (not included). Available with a "baby-butt" smooth finish or radical flame. They feature the Phast-Lock system, a spring-loaded nylon rod that requires no special tools, to fasten the headlight rim and headlight unit. Also incorporates a rubber O-ring to keep water out of the bucket, so no screws that disturb the fluent shape of your headlight.
